"Say NO to Panhandling" Sign Article in AZ Daily Star
The AZ Daily Star ran an article today about Pima County's Plans to install "Say NO to Panhandling" signs. This is a direct result of the positive collaboration between Pima County and the Tucson Crime Free Coalition.
Zone Restrictions for Criminals
The Tucson Crime Free Coalition has been working with TPD to request zone restrictions for individuals that are repetitively committing crimes against businesses, citizens and property owners in the same areas. This is an important community safety tool because these individuals are not allowed to enter a 3 block radius of the area they are restricted from. If they do return it is grounds for an immediate arrest.
The University of Arizona has Five (5) pages of individuals who are banned from campus due to committing crimes. See more information in the link listed below. TCFC brings this to your attention because crimes against University students, on and off campus is on the rise. Off campus student housing specifically has become a new target.

Our Mayor and Council as well as our County Prosecutor must abandon failed policies that have led to TUCSON NOT BEING SAFE!
