In addition to the shooting, Saturday evening in front of the Westside TPD Substation at miracle mile, an officer had his rifle drawn pointing at the Sun Tran bus. We have a picture that was posted on facebook. Kevin Daily TCFC member, was driving and saw the officer with rifle drawn pointing at the bus. Haven't seen this covered in media.

Thank you to District 4 Supervisor Steve Christy for fighting for free of speech in Pima County! Steve Christy exposed Adelita Grijalva and County Attorney Laura Conover for banning Shirley Requard from call to the audience and won for the people! Banning speech is dangerous! Even if you don't agree. Elected officials have a duty to listen to their constituents opinions! TCFC previously complained to Board of Supervisors about Grijalva's actions.

I ride that Bus every day to downtown. I guess the hours I ride it there’s no problem. Since the bus has been a free ride for all, there has been more homeless people who ride it now with summer is here it’s now a potable cooling station
Keep the pressure on the politicians! Wonder how the Teamsters Union is going to react to one of their bus drivers being harmed? Just a matter of time with the criminal element riding busses and taking over bus stops..
Broken Promises
Homeless camps are back and up in the Ward 1 area, and they just keep getting bigger and bigger.
The situation at the Estevan Park is getting out of hand and the City of Tucson is allowing this to spill into our neighborhood. The park has been taken over and this seems to be accepted by city leaders and council. Why is this being allowed?
After our meeting at Estevan Park where Mike Ortega, Lane Santa Cruz said this issue was going to be handled, they have done absolutely nothing but ignore or even exacerbate the situation there. Gunshots, theft, drugs, and the smell of lingering smoke in the air from campfires are an everyday occurrence. The urban campers are burning whatever they find, and this hazardous byproduct is floating over and into our homes, schools, and businesses.
Homeless people panhandling on intersections where it is against the law but being allowed. Now, on the west side of Speedway/I-10 Tent City keeps growing, we are being sandwiched in by this. Trash, loose animals, and the smell of urine is so strong a person can’t even enjoy the river walk path.
Done with your lip service, Actions Speak Louder Than Words!

You did not mention the burglary tools in the bag next to the guy at the bus stop smoking his fentanyl! Obvious what this individual does to get money for his habit!
